My words, thoughts and photos from a Swedish perspective

What was hidden under the fabric?

The fabric I photographed was wrapped around a new tree in a park in central Stockholm named Berzelii park after the Swedish chemist and scientist Jöns Jacob Berzelius. It looked as if they are replacing some old and sick trees with new.

  1. Interesting to see them do that in winter! Maybe the wrap gives a little frost protection too until the tree gets established?

  3. I thought, ‘What in the heck?’, when I first saw the photo. Isn’t it a little early for planting trees (hard on the roots)? Glad the tree is wrapped!

Montucky: To be honest, I’m not so sure it’s the right thing to do right now. Let’s hope it works.

imac: A fury Christmas tree? 🙂

Anna: I asked myself the same question, but of course I hope it works.
