My words, thoughts and photos from a Swedish perspective

More ice formations

A couple of photos from my walk down town today. I stopped by at my usual dealer and looked at a couple of camera bodies and got a little to think about and I must say the thought of buying a new camera body is very tempting.

  1. Great photos. I bought a new point & shot with a mega zoom today. It’s great for harsh weather because it’s so light that I can carry it with me and keep in warm enough.

Lynn: Thank you. I’ve seen what a point & shoot with mega zoom can do. They are very good and I hope you’ll like your new camera and enjoy working with it.

  3. Bobbers? Bobbers frozen. Great captures! I’d like to have a point & shoot with mega zoom to carry with me all the time… especially at the grocery store. I bought a new camera body a year ago and I’m still happily shooting with it. I happen to really like my camera… Canon EOS 50D… and I know there are some very good cameras out there besides Canon, and of course the full sensor cameras. I hoping to have my Rebel XTi converted to infrared this year (wish list!). Cameras, though, can be very tempting and addictive. šŸ™‚

Anna: Thanks! There are many good cameras out there but I’m staying with Canon so I can use my lenses. Their full sensor camera was very tempting but I think it’s more than I need right now, even though it was very tempting (I could have bought it on the spot but managed to control myself – that was tough).
