My words, thoughts and photos from a Swedish perspective

Three front doors

Something very strange happened on Saturday – we had sunshine for the first time in weeks. Unfortunately, I had to work, but things could be worse and it doesn’t matter if I’m working or not as long as I can enjoy the sun, one way or another. Today’s decision was to make a quick blogpost and the best thing I could come up with was a couple of front doors.

  1. I wonder what the number is on the middle door, does it also end in 7? I like the moody, mysterious lighting in the bottom shot.

Lynn: Probably not. It is somewhere between 87 and 97, possibly 91 or 93. 🙂

  3. Nice captures and I really like the top and last photos. The first photo that leads the eyes inward making one wonder what is inside. I like the glow of 87 in the last photo with the hint of the decor of the outer door and wonderful architectural decor on top.

  4. So many lovely doors in such a short block.

Anna: Thank you for the comment, it is appreciated.

Lynn: Yes and I was lucky to find them. There was a time when they used to replace old front doors with modern ones and the result was awful; the building lost its character completely.

  6. I love photographs of doors and these are lovely! I would guess there are some beautiful photos waiting to be taken inside those doors as well!
