It’s no secret that I like front doors and the more battered by time and thousands of hands the better and these were just irresistable.

I like the way that the top one imitates the autumn leaves above. Again, we don’t have such interesting old doors here, so it’s like a little vacation to Sweden from the comfort of my home.

Lynn: Acanthus leaves and shells became the highest fashion in ornamentation during the rococo and were frequently used all over Europe.
The blog world has many advantages and being able to explore other countries from home is one of many. I have learned many things since I began blogging and am both happy and grateful for it.
