My words, thoughts and photos from a Swedish perspective

Road signs

Vägmärke 1

Definitely past its prime, but still in use. Whether people follow it or not is another story.

Vägmärke 2

The autumn comes apparently after the bend.

Vägmärke 3

That’s the way it goes if one doesn’t follow the signs and the Rules of the Road.

Vägmärke 4

I wonder how this one got bent?

  2. Great signs, very different from our road signs. I particularly like the autumn around the bend caption.

  3. Signs of the times? Neat shots, though, I don’t recognize what the top one with the 70 in a circle means. The speed perhaps? Km? Forgive my ignorance! LOL The last sign is a yield? Hmm… I really like these and you gave me an idea. I think I’ll go out on a photo shoot just for signs. 🙂

    iMac: Thank you.

Lynn: The autumn around the bend was irresistable.

Anna Surface: In a way, yes. You are right; 70 in a circle means that 70kph is the speed limit (around 44mph) and the last one is a yield. Being able to inspire others is great and I look forward to see the result on your blog in due time. 😀

  5. Staffan, Anna and I used your idea of signs and went on a photo shoot today. You inspired us to look a bit out of the box. We will be posting the photos soon with a link to this post of yours, our inspiration.

Preston: Oooh, I’m very flattered. Thank you so much – I really appreciate this. Inspiring others is grand (and I said something similar to Anna in a comment above). You made my day. 😀
