A country road at this time of the year
When on my way to my holiday home last Friday, the temptation to stop the car and go out and take a picture grew stronger and stronger, so I finally followed the voice and took a couple of shots. Not a car in sight for several minutes. The only thing that broke the silence was the sound of the wind in the treetops.
I took a short break here on a stary winter evening. Out here, where the nearest city is about 60 kilometres away, there is no light contamination which means that one can see even the tiniest star in the sky. It may not be a miracle, but it is a rare sight for us urban people and something to be grateful for.
