My words, thoughts and photos from a Swedish perspective

Am I a tree spotter?

Trees can have the most fantasting and inspiring shapes you can think of. All you need is a little time and the eye to see them. Don’t tell me you have no time – there is a new second every second and sixty of them make a new minute and so on.

Anybody home?

I think these images speak for themselves, so I won’t make so many comments in this blog post. Most of the pictures were taken during a walk on Djurgården in Stockholm, a place that once was the Royal huntinggrounds. It still belongs to the crown but has been open to the public for ages and is a very popular and beautiful part of the city.

Stockholmers love to stroll around there when spring comes and there are at least four museums, one amusement park and more interesting things to find there plus a couple of restaurants.

How to get there? I recommend the ferry (Djurgårdsfärjan) from Slussen or Nybroplan. The ferries have better capacity than buses 44, 47 (or 69 depending on what part of Djurgården you are going to) and you get a good view of the city from the water from it.
