My words, thoughts and photos from a Swedish perspective

More experiments with water

This photo was taken in May this year and was published in the Swedish blog as some kind of “riddle of the day”. It is from one of the fountains at the Royal Palace in Stockholm and it was taken in the evening.

You can get many thoughts and views from a photo like this one. Personally, I think it gives you a hint of both the beauty and the power water possesses.

This is a very intriguing picture. I would never have guessed that it is actually water.

Steffie: Yes it is, because the majority prefer to set the shutter speed to “as fast as possible”, to make sure they freeze the movement (not the water). I decided to do the opposite and got this effect. It’s a piece of cake but few understand how I did it. Now you know the secret. 🙂
